Keep Calm and Read the Privacy Policy

On two occasions so far Facebook has had to backtrack, regardless of its weight in social networking, from amendments to its privacy policy granting itself licenses to content uploaded by users.

However those users seem to not have a problem granting free and perpetual, non-exclusive worldwide licenses to fads like the «Keep-Calm-O-Matic» in exchange for a witty poster to then upload onto Facebook.

In addition to those overbearing terms, you can only keep your poster private if you sign up with them; what happens to those details afterwards is not very clear.

You may want to keep calm, and read the privacy policy BEFORE you use your content to make one such poster!
